Photo within a photo: this is "Poison Glen", Richard Mosse's 2012 photograph of the Congolese forest, made with Aerochrome, a false-colour infrared film by Kodak. This film is no longer produced. On view in 2014 at the Manchester Art Gallery in England, "Poison Glen" was part of an exhibition that marked the centenary of the First World War.

The red line is a mark from an infrared sensor from the camera. Conclusion - this camera is not made for infrared.
