My friend's Kitchen design in Final Fantasy XIV

Saphire: 1, Oven: 0.

Okay, more like Oven 3... -casually slides the trashcan full of burnt donuts out of shot with her foot-

My kitchen looked pretty with the afternoon light streaming in, so I took a picture of it.

Also, I´m so glad it´s Friday. Have a very happy weekend!

This was the kitchen at the apartment we rented in Pacific Heights. It was small and narrow but very modern and cozy. I especially liked the frosted glass cupboards and the fridge built into the wall was really neat....

Our kitchen remains small but much more functional...now onto the new back porch, front vestibule, and bathroom reno :-)

Our kitchen in our new house

Taking sometime away from decorating others projects, and work on my own home for the holidays!

This is my rendition of a kitchen designed by Elaine Griffin of New York.

Charlotte is making a batch of blueberry muffins in the bakery kitchen.

Might as well use all of the Kenmore Kitchen pieces before putting this all away. Sort of odd to have 2 refrigerators in a kitchen, but since this is a bakery, they need more storage space. Now to stop procrastinating and clean up.

Pardon the wonky walls. I need to glue this paper onto a surface so everything stays lined up.

Kitchen cabinet/sink set: Kenmore kitchen

Clay food on table (bread, jam, jelly filled pastries, rolls, cinnamon rolls): made by me

Table: antique show

Cabinet: thrift store - Muffy the Bear

Fridge: Salvaged from a Barbie dollhouse, just repainted it

Red apron and red tipped rolling pin: vintage Barbie

White tables: Barbie medical set repainted

Teal mixer, bowl, spoon: Our Generation, Target

Basket on table: Barbie

Cutting boards, bamboo tray, baskets on fridge, scale, apples, blueberry muffin stuff, Pyrex bowls: Rement

Yellow mixer: vintage

Cardboard foil and plastic bag boxes: vintage

Yellow bowl: jewelry charm, thrift store

Food in cabinet: combo of erasers, minis from Hobby Lobby, Rement, and a Deluxe Reading Kitchen chocolate cake

Aqua bowls and pots in sink: Liv

Crock: 1:12 dollhouse

Walls and floor: scrap book paper

This space is a renovation project that I designed and installed.

It is for sale - contact me if you are interested.

I am very intrigued by small space design, and while I don't really want a galley kitchen I like seeing how things are arranged to make the best use of space. I like the heavy moldings and the glass front cabinets.

Our completed facelift. The bamboo roman shades were added just last night to finish the job off. We could not be happier.

There are still some ugly cables that need to be covered. Which reminds me of the fact I STILL need to buy a million of frames...

Benjamin Moore "Traditional Yellow"

This is the "AFTER" of our kitchen. This is a brand new house, and we brought the stove with us and had the kitchen built to fit it. The countertops were perfectly plain white laminate, but they were taking a beating with craft projects and general wear and tear. As much as I don't usually love granite, I can't keep up with marble and tile gets too dirty. So, we found a pretty pale and subtle granite we actually kinda liked and also added subway tile. See the before photos in same set. blogged at hollydoodledesigns.com

our kitchen from the dining area.

our former kitchen was so small, , now is bigger, more practical, but not as cozy as before.

My kitchen.

Where i enjoy cooking sometimes, but avoid like plague at other times.

Where i create food, sometimes palatable, sometimes completely inedible.

Where i think of my family in India the most.

Where the prospect of cleaning up afterwards takes over the joy of cooking itself.

I never knew kitchens could be this cathartic. ;)

Blend of a couple of ambient and flash frames.

Had a hard time controlling the ceiling. I find it to be a bit distracting, especially the area on the far left, where the light from the roundish window is reflecting. My eye is drawn to that spot.

Would like to have stepped back and shot this with a longer focal length, but it wasn't possible.

This was shot for an interior designer and a builder. I'll probably end up cloning the electrical outlet (and its reflection :)

Feedback/suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you!
