An alternative culture installation in the Kensington area. Calgarians know this area as Kensington, but it is composed of the neighbourhoods of Hillhurst and Sunnyside.

Sketched from Google-Street-View. You can see the original view here.

Taken from the Philippine Airline flight arriving into London Heathrow. Many famous buildings can be seen, such as Royal Albert Hall and The Albert Memorial (centre), Natural History Museum (front centre), and Victoria and Albert Museum (front right). At the top is Kensington Gardens, with Kensington Palace (left) and The Serpentine (right)

A little oasis of peace calm and charm above Kensington High Street. Owned by Richard Branson and free to visit if no events are on. One of London's hidden treasures. Sits atop an old Department store.

The lake, now largely choked with vegetation, from the Wildwing Trail Footbridge.

First visit to this beautiful suburban bushland in a long while.

Missed out on our targeted honeyeater species but managed to get a small (6) flock of these quite close-by albeit with some foliage in the way.

On black, please.

South Kensington Station in London is one of the oldest and lovliest of the Victorian underground stations. It was built in 1868 just 5 years after the first underground train ran in London and is still in use today. This is the entrance pano-sabotage style.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, comment, fave or invite. I really appreciate them all.
