Perth Southern Fried Festival 2017

Went out on saturday for a wee trip up to Northumberland I tried following the light around but I was kidding myself it was a dull day!

Not wanting to give up I stopped off a Blyth on the way home to try and scavenge something for the days efforts.

Anyway I am off on a 2 week tour doing sound for a girl called Karine Polwart

starting tomorrow morning 1st stop Cardiff!

Explore #238 Cheers for all the comments didn't think people would like this one.

DON’T WORRY

Don’t worry

worrying won’t pay the bills

I would trade in the view from this mountainside

for some tiny little molehills

When the soldier comes back

with the weight of the world in his little knapsack

He’s gonna need a hand to hold

to ease out the thorns from the heart of his soul

and roll away the stone

Don’t worry

worrying won’t make it all stop

I would trade in the swell of the ocean

for one tiny little rain drop

When the soldier comes back

with the weight of the world in his little knapsack

He’s gonna need a hand to hold

to ease out the thorns from the heart of his soul

and roll away the stone

I will roll away the stone

I will roll away the stone

And set you free

Don’t spread your arms so wide

Why don’t you keep a little something inside?

But there are people in this world who don’t think like you do"

74/365 This is one more Loch Lomond shot. I don't normally do a huge amount of processing but boredom led me to play around with picasa and I quite like this, sort of dark, old fashioned, dreary result.

The boat is a paddle steam ship called Maid Of The Loch. We popped in there as a friend of mine is a fan of the Scottish songwriter and singer Karine Polwart www.karinepolwart.com/index.php and she has a song called "Maid of The Loch (You and I and the Sky)". Maybe that is what this picture should be called. Here is a youtube clip of the song:
