the geek behind the curtain: all shots and layers in this assemblage taken and developed by myself.
two shots from this morning. fairly simple. i was "inspired", if it can be called that, seeing a shot on Flickr yesterday in BnW of a spotlight on a nose and mouth with a milk mustache, all very sharply defined. then i remembered Gustaf Dore's drawings and etchings from the story of Gargantua.
a deep unquenchable thanks -- as always -- to our daughter E for helping with this shot.

This is just a random shot I took on a recent trip to London. I don't know why I like it so much. It just speaks to me. I hope everyone is doing well out there in Flickr land.
We all have things that we loved when we were kids! It's awesome that these days you can find almost any of those things on a t-shirt, or even those exact things on websites like ebay! It's fun to reminisce about the "old days", and even bring back those nostalgic feelings. When Barry and I went out we (unplanned) both wore shirts of childhood memories! Haha thus the inspiration!
