For several years these sweet glittery deer have been awaiting a special place to spend their days. They seem so content in their new surrondings...among the leaves of gold...I can't bring myself to hide them away until the holidays return. They're going to remain on the sideboard throughout the year!
Our front garden continues to evolve...with new additions (nearly weekly) and growth filling in. It's still a work in progress...but one that is proving to bring more joy than we could ever imagine!
I was delighted to discover the herb "Boxwood Basil" ...a perfect fit for this tabletop Cathedral Garden!

I set them there while planting the windowbox and accidentally found they looked lovely from inside the house...and added another dimension outside!

Compact, small-leafed plants look like small shrubs.
Great for pesto & more, or as a fragrant ornamental plant.

Madonna Bougainvillea petals look like bits of tissue paper as they dry...and fall on the rocks below.
We've planted Madonna Bougainvillea along our back fence...and in pots around our backyard pergola...
