In the true sense, everyone is alone in the journey of life. So friends, carry a light burden, and a happy soul to make the journey easier !

Whichever was, or ever will be
And like most lives, they wait for a moment
The moment…One will be sent on it’s journey

Nope...not San Francisco .... and nope not here in North Bay .... but in my chest .. where it belongs ....beating stronger now that it ever has.
Tommy's tree here has adorned so many of my photos ... many people see it as just a tree .... a part of a cool and lovely shoreline ... I look at it as a friend .... it has been with me through the dark days and good days. it has heard me cry..it has heard me laugh... it has heard me asking God to show me the ways of my errors .... it has heard me thanking God for the enlightenment.
Soon I shall be leaving this tree ... but it will forever live within me ..... for that I must thank the Universe ... My God ...for in the 12 years that we have shared this little corner of Paradise ... it has granted me permission to continue my Journey .....
I'm not the man I want to be ... I'm not the man I ought to be .... but thank God I'm not the man I used to be .....
The time has now come for me to take my beating heart and to move on ... and share it with a soul mate ... but I will leave a little piece of it here ... I feel that it's the least I can do ... for this simple tree has showed me Life .....
Have a great day my friends...xox
This morning...I bring you a very big and heartfelt THANK YOU!
Because, two years ago to the day, Agnieszka and I landed here in Poznan with nothing more than suitcases, excitement and anticipation for the beginnings of a new life. For the first year we lived in Swarzedz and the image below was one of the first that really changed my entire perception of what would be an incredible adventure (and has since gone on to be one of my most popular photos...). The landscapes were the first thing that really attracted me to the beauty of Poland and this was my first "real" autumn experience....all of the colors still blow me away!
Next, it was the beauty of the city of Poznan that really began to shift how I saw the world. The light here is truly incredible and as I walked the various streets I began to see and feel how it was shifting my perception, changing how I approached my work and ultimately how I could and would capture it. With every corner that I take, a new aspect of this beautiful city and country unfolds and I hope I have done it justice.
And lastly, but most importantly, it is the people here in Poland and Poznan...and Europe that I have met, who have welcomed me, extended kindness and patience, befriended me, and made my journey here one of the best things that has ever happened in my life (the best being, having met and fallen in love with Agnieszka, without her I wouldn't be here). And of course thank you to all who have liked, commented, shared, sent emails, supported and appreciated my work here....you keep me inspired, each and every one of you every day. Kudos.
You can always find me either running around on the streets or hanging out in the Pasaż Apollo...making coffee, chatting with folks or waving hello to the many who pass at Bigfoot Coffee Shop. So much to be thankful for......
A huge, honest, heartfelt thank you to all of you here on flickr who have been such a wonderful and supportive community. One that I continue to be inspired by and learn from daily. I hope you have enjoyed the ride so far....I know I have....... :)

Reminders as we journey through 2010 —
1. travel light (leave extra baggages of anger, hatred, fear & bitterness, you won't need it anyway)
2. travel with joy (be positive.... it is difficult to travel with someone who is unhappy
— be a source of joy to others)
3. travel with hope (we can never know what lies ahead, trust and believe that there is something great in store for us)
"it is not so much about the destination..the journey is not about where you go, but what occurs along the way..."
HAPPY 2010 MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!

If one advances confidently in the direction of one's dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

the tractor on this long bridge crossing from one Lofoten island to the next certainly reminded me of David Lynch's story The Straight Journey :)

I'd like to think life has improved since 1850, despite the long hours we all seem to spend slaving over hot computers, but the psychological journeys remain the same - the search for love, identity, a meaningful place in the world.

Snow Journey (Voyage de Neige)
Frozen, Graphic Copositions Series
Sorry for my absence from all my Flickr friends, I will try my best to catch up all your visits.
It was a journey of winter, a journey of snow and ice.
During the journey, I had a feel of the Canada's Truth North, the Arctic sun, the aboriginal culture, a scary ice highway and the dancing of northern light.
One of my usual framing for road shots. i have done nearly 10 of em with the same frame and almost same elements in different locations.
i have tried out a new type of post processing inspired from ajay menon(www.flickr.com/photos/ajaymenon/) without leaving my flavor of processing.
