I have been trying to come up with a title for this image for the last several minutes. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces of work to date. I finally decided on Inspiration. This is the kind of image that inspires me to keep on pressing the shutter. So "Inspiration" it is. As always comments and criticism are welcomed!

Just when I thought there is nothing left for me to achieve on Flickr, comes a big surprise. I'm always very happy when I inspire people, but it felt extra special, when I inspired Ginny to paint my picture of Myvatn, Iceland.

After catching the light through the beam at Pfeiffer beach (5 shots back in my stream), I was scanning the beach looking for other shots and I noticed this pointy rock between two massive boulders seemed to be glowing. It was long after sunset and far away so I didn't think the photo would turn out, but I switched to my 100-400 and gave it a try with a 25 second exposure. I was pleasantly surprised.
I hope that everyone is having a nice week. I got this super sweet shirt at the thrift store that says Fear Builds Walls, it was in the little boy section lol they have the best stuff. My uncle from Georgia came into town and he's taking us to Olive Garden tomorrow, though it's nice to see him, I'm mostly excited for the breadsticks.

A fabulous new park has opened up in Brooklyn!
Though I spent the summer away, I was delighted to visit the spot through the wonderful work of Barry Yanowitz, Vitaliy P. , krugerlive, Cran Burry and Rafakoy. Check them out, they're all incredible shots and it's fascinating seeing different artists' interpretations of the same place.
Of course, once I got back to Brooklyn I thought it was about time a girl got down there...
(and preferably a girl with some film) and so, here's my humble contribution.

Photographers are always looking for inspiration - it can be elusive - the last couple of weeks I have not felt much inspiration - but I know this feeling comes and goes and the only remedy is to keep shooting.
This image was captured at Little Austinmer about an hour south of Sydney - I have shot this location quite a few times but without much "luck". But persistence is key and so on this day I got "lucky" and we had beautiful light and water flow. It was a terrific shoot and I got a number of keepers and was able to experiment.
Processed in PS CC and captured on my Nikon D810.

Estava eu em Caraíva-BA, lugar paradisíaco, quando me lembrei deste presente e simplesmente ‘senti’ a inspiração para uma foto, alguns passos depois achei esse galhinho escondido entre outros, de vários formatos, mas não tão peculiar.
A inspiração foi tão forte, que pela primeira vez eu consegui focar um objeto tão de perto com a minha 18-55mm!!! Rsrsrsrs
