another long exposure pic taken on the lower edge of Times Square on 42nd street.

This rickshaw was driving on TimesSquare. I used the "motion-capture" technique during exposure to underline the speed by unsharpen the background. (I didn´t use photoshop for that!)

This pic is a part of my "NYC-The Mission 2005" set...

Please see the whole Timelapse - set!!!

Then you can see the night coming down step by step...

Wonderful view down to central park and the 5th AVE.On the left is where "Shakespere in the park" is performed every summer. This pic also is a stitched one...

Please also see the pic´s notes. They´re for the Group Virtual World Interactive and let you go through the scene virtually...

This is taken at the lower edge of Wall Street in Manhattan. I took it for the "squared circle" - group.

This pic is a part of my "NYC-The Mission 2005" set...

This stitch-work consists of 3 single photos and shows the Union Sq. on 14th St in late September ´05...

Additionally it is a main overview for the Group Virtual World Interactive

So it contains some links of virtual zooms taken by different flickr users. That means if you klick on such a note on the pic you can zoom virtually on the spotted area...

For details please see the Group´s description.

This bridge is so beautiful and stands for stability. I turned it in greyscale to straighten the historical touch of it...

I saw the same pic taken by another usr ere on flickr... So I added it to the "Millions of Them" - Group.

I was Infinite Flickrer #20 back on April 13, 2005 (I just realized I should have waited a few weeks!), and I have finally gotten around to doing another one. Loads of fun!

I should have been a twin. They had thought they had heard two heartbeats when my mother was pregnant. We were going to be Terri Lee and Traci Lynn. I ended up Tracy Lee and have been trying to control my dual personalities ever since... ;)

One of theese paintings on the streets and aves... I tryed out the "fake lomo-effect" with Photoshop.

Wednesdays are for Self Portraits, it seems.

Have you seen the Infinite Flickr group? I think it's super cool and have been wanting to submit something to it forever. But I think the group is dead so I'm not sure if this will show up there. It's not the best picture for Infinite Flickr anyway because you can't see the picture on the guy's computer screen. Maybe I should do an Infinite Self Portrait thing on Wednesdays.

My addition to the "infinite flickr" pool. Go there for details

00:00 trying to capture the infinite flickr effect... to kick of my DILO with a bang... to no avail!

I didn't like any of my shots, except this one... which clearly doesn't do the trick for the project... [then this guy beat me to the punch]

thus "begins" my day *feigns excitement* woo hoo! can't wait for the rest.

off to bed for now, see you in the morrow

I found this group and it looked like a cool and fun idea so I had to give it a go.

And now a message from the admin of the group, "if you have stumbled across this photo in my stream an wonder what the hell its all about watch this slide show and all will be exsplaned!"

This is the song that doesn't end...

Yes it goes on and on my friends...

Some people, started singing it not knowing what it was

And they'll continue singing it forever just because...

As you can tell, I couldn't make the image more full size... I tried though!

Unfortunately the camera that was used to take the original photo wasn't very good, hence the depth being lost because it couldn't get close enough (Macro mode was broken).

This is why I had to try and blur the photo using software, which is why there is blur bleed on the top of the iPod. But i'm sure you could have worked that out for yourselves.

Dude! I got a Dell. Seriously. My 5-year old Pentium 4 workstation at work was finally replaced this morning with a Core 2 Duo E6750 Dell Optiplex 755. Sweet.

"if you have stumbled across this photo in my stream and wonder what the heck its all about watch this slide show and all will be explained!"

Oh, this is a real photo too and not doctored up in any way, 'cept the crop.

How I did it: First, I downloaded the largest version available, then put it onto a CD and popped it into the DVD player. The picture looked fine by itself, but when I got in front of it, I was only a silhouette - I was tempted to use that version, because you can't see me very well. ;) I could have used a different metering mode (like spot metering, pointing on me), but that would have made the picture much brighter and it would not have looked good at all. So I turned the flash on, but dialed the compensation value way down so it did not light me up too much or wash out the tv. But now I had the flash reflecting badly off of the screen, so I had to set the tripod up on a much higher angle - fully extended and sitting on top of a coffee table and couch about 7 feet in the air. Now the flash will add the light without the glare or reflection. Post processing was just a conversion from RAW, then the crop. I might have tweaked the color balance a tiny bit too. Fin.

I left the photo in a much larger than normal size to help with the next infinite Flickr user.

REITERATION OF COMMONLY BROKEN RULES

1. Please make sure YOU are visible in the picture with the screen!! Pictures with inanimate objects are not as interesting and will be deleted.

2. Please make the previous picture as large as possible. These will be treated on a "case by case" basis. If it is at a small size and the resolution is great and we can still see a few other flickrites in the image then you're probably good.

3. I've decided that I will delete pictures that don't have at least another 2 previous images clearly visible
