An old image revisited with the distressedfx app on the phone. Really enjoying the app it's a lot of fun.
Good things seem to come in threes. This was done entirely with my iPhone by combining two of my iPhone photos to make a third one. The apps I used are listed in the tags. But this is nothing compared to the talent and imagination that comes into the Amazing Phoneography ★ The BEST Only! group which I curate. There is only one 2013 Top Ten and you can see it now along with the 2013 Top Fifty.
It was not easy to select which ten or fifty should be the best out of thousands of fantastic submissions over the year. Artistic creativity continues to evolve in this genre and it's so inspiring!

On a night like this I'll curl up tight,
Silently still, so dreams take flight.
I'll dream of a night with words in the sky,
reading each outline with my cautious little eye.
The story pulls me in and suddenly I'm intrigued,
I didn't know I could read with such agility and speed.
My mind is absorbed like a moth to a flame,
for never are the words ever written the same.
The scenery changes and I'm lost in a dream,
for on a night like this, nothing is as it seems.

iphone rendering - The "structural poetics" series emerges from "topography, light, climate, and tectonic form" found during my observations of place. The images are a composite of existing conditions that depict a hyper contextual architecture that utilizes software as the primary material.
The foundations of the Imaginary Architecture series is born from a study of density, an infographic of excel data hacked by the gritty reality of place, a speculative look at the undervalued urban context.
"Black Rock" uses Perspective Correct to create dynamic space by warping images in a non-corrective manner. Compositing several layers of photos is done with Union, ImageBlender, and SquareReady. Final finishing is handled with Mextures and AfterLight

I took the photo of the flower with my iPhone; the fanciful name, "Rock Wort" is my invention; the word "Wort" is an old Saxon name for flower. I made the texture using Procreate. I then combined the photo and the painted texture in ImageBlender, which I then polished up in Snapseed.

I started this poem a few years ago, and this photo helped me finally finish it.
