This house, now owned by artist Martin Cushman, is in Mt. Plymouth, FL -- once home to Chicago gangsters. The house was built by Sam Stoltz in what is called the "storybook style."

I'm stuck in bed with a cold and fever and really bored, so I thought I'd play around with the umpteen apps I have on my phone. This was done with Icolorama S, among many others.

levanjames: What app did you use?

alteregoz: @levanjames a bunch haha. I created the pattern with like 6 apps, used Icolorama S to blend the pattern with a pic of my face. Used snapseed to clean up the lines and saturation. Tbh it's hard to remember all the processes most of my pieces I freestyle between apps until I get something I like

levanjames: Oh I understand now. You missed a spot under your ear

levanjames: **over

alteregoz: @levanjames I saw that. It was a line in the wall behind me. Pisses me off but ehh whatever it's just for me so lol

This is an in-depth tutorial of my entry for @unitedbyedit #ube_wed multiple apps challenge. I took it a step further by not having a starting picture to edit. So step 1: opened an all white photo in toonpaint and colored it blue. Step 2: took that into fractal photo and moved the cursor around til I got a desirable fractal. 3: went into juxtaposer (a stamping app) to add the surreal faces adding some freakiness. Plus the bright faces were a good contrast to the dark background. Step 4: went into the app lenslight and added the spotlights of color. Step 5: opened up Icolorama S to add the multi effect (mild 3d) and edges sharpening. Step 6: opened up the app aremaC and used the brain forest filter. This darkened all the blacks and brightened the colors. I hope you guys enjoy and possibly learn some tricks on how to turn nothing I to something.
