a view of Hungry Horse Reservoir looking into the Flathead Mountain Range in Hungry Horse National Forest This area was ravaged by fire as witnessed by the pine snags in the foreground. The bright green is the new growth coming in.
this was taken within minutes of the previous image and from the same spot ... i turned and looked east and saw this hungry cloud headed for the windmills ... it's one of my favorite places in the altamont to watch the light play across the hills ...
Local fisherman threw a bucket of crabs on the beach and all of a sudden I was in the middle of a feeding frenzy.

I was just looking through my photo sets from 2008 and I have to say my favourite would be the 'hungry little angels' series.
I have gone friends & family with most pictures of kids.
If you would like to be added let me know. x
I posted it earlier and deleted it. Because, the quality was not good enough. I repost it because of my friend RL625 encouraged me.

Dawn of a new day high up in Sabrina Basin at the headwaters of Bishop Creek Middle Fork. Picture Peak always steals the show up here, but Hungry Packer Lake certainly doesn't disappoint. Other impressive peaks include Powell Point on the left, and Haeckel on the far right.
Hard to grasp the scale of this place, but there's a lime green tent on the lower left peninsula of the lake that gives some perspective.
Spruce Bog is a fantastic spot to shoot these warblers. There were atleast 5 different common yellowthroats feeding in the bog and defending territory!

"The human soul is hungry for beauty; we seek it everywhere - in landscape, music, art, clothes, furniture, gardening, companionship, love, religion, and in ourselves. No one would desire not to be beautiful. When we experience the beautiful, there is a sense of homecoming."
~ John O'Donohue
Out in any National Park, if you want to enjoy watching a herd of Elephants (Loxodonta africana), out in the wild, strategically park your vehicle ahead of them. The whole herd will simply ignore you and just keep feeding as they walk by you giving an amazing photographic opportunity.
This extreme close-up of the Elephant walking past busy feeding is an uncropped photograph taken in the savannah plains of Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.

By the time they had diminished from 50 to 8, the other dwarves began to suspect "Hungry".
