The Palisades, also called the New Jersey Palisades or the Hudson Palisades are a line of steep cliffs along the west side of the lower Hudson River in northeastern New Jersey and southern New York in the United States.
Hudson, Ohio. I grew up hear here. In this drawing I hid my family member's names: tim, sandee, luke, tyler. Not sure you can see them even in the highest resolution. Here's a hint: tyler's name can be found in the far right gazebo post - near the bottom.

My daughter wanted a stuffed monster to match her brother's (ordered from Nature Baby Knits), so I used this yarn dyed by Three Irish Girls in their Quinn colorway with coordinating purple. So somehow, in the dozen years after I graduated from high school, the town I remember as small, sad, relatively poor Hudson has turned into fancy-pants weekend mecca for wealthly New York City folk. I'd heard of this phenomenon (the town even made it into the New York Times travel section), but hadn't visited in years. It was truly bizzare to walk around and see all the rich people and too-expensive stores. I bought a skirt in one of the more reasonable places, and the woman asked me if I was "from the city." I felt like saying "yeah, this one!"

The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is multi-faceted. It is first and foremost a classic regional display garden, drawing visitors mainly from the Denver metropolitan area. Opened to the public in June of 1996, The Hudson Gardens is a private non-profit organization, as well as a Tier II Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) organization. Hudson Gardens has endeavored to branch out and capture new market segments by introducing a summer concert series, offering educational programs, hosting special community events, operating a gift shop, and renting its facilities for corporate and private events, including weddings, receptions, seminars, business meetings, and presentations.
