If you've got kids, I bet you know who the hudson hornet is!

Taken from the Hotel room at The Element on 13th flloor.

That's New Jersey on the other side of the Hudson River. Some wonderful places to visit along the Hudson including The Lamont Nature Sanctuary which has a waterfall that freezes in mid-air. Yes it does! I saw it!

This old Hudson has seen better days. Neat how the steering wheel and upholstery have rotted away.

A beautiful day along the Hudson River. The neighborhoods of Inwood (upper Manhattan) and Riverdale (the Bronx) are featured prominently.

This series represents my first attempt at long exposure at night. I'm impressed with how easy it is to experiment with the Nikon D60.

Here is another old car from my recent trip to Saskatchewan (Canada) to see my in-laws. Inscribed on the drivers door is the word "Essex" so after some Googling I found out that this is a Hudson Essex and though the models I saw vary slightly from year to year. This one is in the 1928 to 1931 bracket.

Anyone know for sure out there?

I hope I looks this good when I am 80 years old!

Picture taken with 3 bracketed exposures to create an HDR image. Additional tweaking in Photoshop.

It's not this cold now, but we're still waiting for spring to start.
