With a friendly wave from the cab, Soo Line train No. 203 passes the shore of Pewaukee Lake at Pewaukee, Wisconsin, on the nice autumn day of October 6, 1990. An EMD SD60M/SD60 combo in new “candy apple red,” power the westbound hotshot.
More wet feet between Corton and Lowestoft in the morning light on Friday. I really need longer wellies.

Headed to Redgrave Fen the other morning in the fog. It didn't really lift much so headed into the trees to get a few shots
This is a photo of the first evening of my Holiday in France last week. The sun was setting on the beautiful Beach of Meneham in Brittany. I took this shot with my Canon EOS 350D and 18-55mm Lens and used an aperture of f/16 to keep the whole scene sharp.

Havent been out for a while after a busy few weeks at work, but headed down to Aldeburgh for dawn today and you could definitely tell it was December!
Did some LE's of Orford Castle as well. The hills around the Keep are great when the light hits them. Will definitely be back here in future

Driving back after Aldeburgh there was some lovely light, this cottage was just off a little byway near Sibton.
Santa Fe 8055 West rounds a curve passing through Heman, Oklahoma, on August 9, 1987. Herman is located in the Curtis Hill area of northwestern Oklahoma between Waynoka and Woodward. The train has just crossed the Cimarron River and will shortly ascend the Curtis Hill grade.
I took this photo while waiting for the fireworks show to start down in North Carolina. I just purchased my remote shutter release so I was eager to try my hand at low light/long exsposure photography. Unfortunately, I later found out that I was on the wrong side of the island to see the fireworks so I didn't get any shots of them but I did walk away with this and a few other nice sunset shots.

In the background, adorned by the autumn fog, are Karavanke (Karawanks), the easternmost range of the Alps, separating Slovenia from Austria.
