Up on the Clent Hills yesterday with my friend Donna and our dogs. SUCH a beautiful day. I really liked the clouds over the Worcestershire countryside. This is looking east from the top of Walton Hill. The hills are collectively called the Clent Hills. They're owned by the National Trust.
On a clear day you can see as far as the Black Mountains, Wales. Looking east, Kinver Edge, Derbyshire can be seen and I think that's what we can see on the horizon.
There's so much to see and do. Nimmings Wood Car Park has an open-sided cafe with outdoor seating. Their wonderful sandwiches are delicious - well worth a visit just to sample their friendly service, delicious, unpretentious food and a cup of tea.
It's been years since I went to this beautiful place. Won't be leaving it so long again !
Processed with Topaz Impression - with a lot of help from PicMonkey too !
Thanks as always for your kindness, comments and faves - I'm sure you know how much they mean to me. Hope you like the view ! Constructive criticism always welcome :o)

I still feel nostalgia of this light

A view from St Aldhelms Head towards Emmett's Hill, Houns Tout and Swyre Head.
I like the cloud rolling over the top of Swyre Head in this one.

This is another experiment with grafting in an appropriate sky. The lighting in the previous picture made it impossible to correctly expose the hills and the sky too. I have a folder full of alternate skys to use. In this case I'm sure it was worth the extra work.
Standing at over 1,000 metres, the views from the top of the Malvern Hills are stunning. You can see 13 counties from the summit.
The last time I stood atop Primrose Hill, disappointed with the quality of my skyline shots, I decided to turn around and photograph the photographers and onlookers instead. This time, again disappointed with my city shots, I focused on the sunset.
One of my favourite locations, the footpath leading to the old windmill on top of Cleadon Hills Nature Reserve
View from Cockshaw Hill nr Gribdale just before sunset. Having waited all year for the Hearther to Bloom I was finally was able to capture a view I've seen many times before.
Hope you like.

Excessive tweaking in Color Efex, and then a big dollop of de-haze added in Photoshop...Happy Sliders Sunday everyone :-)
originated from a small small hill in my homewoods. I shot this in early October when the trees and grasses slowly begins to change the colors ! Its one of my favorite places there because you have a beautiful view of the sunset :-)
