Well, I haven't been able to come up with anything new lately so I decided to post a shot taken last month. Hope you all have a great memorial day weekend!!
The Highlight Towers, two beautiful towers that are shifted against each other in Munich, Germany, are considered exemplary for new architecture in the city.
Night Glowing with mulled wine party and fireworks at the starting field in Kössen, Tyrol, Austria
a wonderful night and great spectacle.
I still have not been able to get out lately ( at least when conditions are good) . Baseball season will be over soon and I should have more time for photography. I took this shot late last winter. Hope you all have a great weekend!
Highlight Towers is a twin tower office skyscraper complex completed in 2004 in Munich, Germany. The towers are joined by two bridges made of glass and steel combine to offer the two planned by architects Murphy/Jahn of Chicago. Tower I is 126 m (413 ft) with 33 storeys, and Tower II is 113 m (371 ft) with 28 storey which make them among the highest buildings in the city. Also in the complex are two low-rise buildings between the twin towers, that serve as a hotel and additional office space. Overall, the facility offers approximately 73,836 m2 (794,760 sq ft) of office space.

An image from last Year out looking for highlights and contrasts under the canopy. On many visits to woodland I find myself fighting the intense contrasts of light but on this day clearing mist helped soften this capture.
How good is this autumn weather? Blue skies all day, crisp mornings, water not too cold! This has to be my favourite time of year to photograph… (not that it's bad in winter, spring or summer).

Made a visit to one of my favourite sunset locations at Birdham, West Sussex this evening and watched this sweeping cloud being highlighted by the setting sun.
Conditions were not perfect with a cold wind blowing up the estuary so the water was not totaly calm but I am pleased I was around to experience the colour in the clouds!
0.4 second exposure using Lee 0.9 ND grad + 0.6 ND grad (reversed) filters.
Thanks for any comments you may wish to leave.

The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is one of the most attractive points in Moscow.
The current church is the second to stand on this site. The original church, built during the 19th century, took more than 40 years to build. It was destroyed in 1931 during the Communist rule of Joseph Stalin. The demolition was supposed to make way for a colossal Palace of the Soviets that was never built, so the church was reconstructed in the 1990s on the same site.
A shot from my recent visit to Moscow. The weather was not comfortable, but the sky color just amazed me. So I had to spend some time on a cold and windy bridge:-) Hope it was worth it...
Thank you for all your comments and favs, my friends.

Posting way early because I am playing in K-W tonight. Finished at 2:00 am and probably crawl into bed at 4 am after I unload the drums. Sounds like fun, yes? It is a little bit but I will be totally wiped out tomorrow. Night night my flickeroos.

The ferns on Round Bald still have their spring like color and freshness. I was lucky to get a day with very little wind since the slightest breeze sends these ferns into a frenzy.
Inspired by my friend Ian (RZ68) I picked up a medium format camera earlier this year and began shooting with it. Unlike many other photogs I began shooting with a digital camera first and now find myself working backwards. I believe that understanding film is important to me as I grow as a photographer. Plus you can make one hell of an enlargement :)
Here is a shot I took at Emerald Bay using a Mamiya RB67 on the same morning as the shot I posted a few weeks ago. The thing I liked most about the previous shot was that mid blue, blue hour color that was reflected across the lake. This shot was taken a bit later so I did not have quite as much blue, but I did get some great color from the clouds which reflected in the bay.
I still have much to learn about film and shooting medium format, but as I progress I will be posting more on flickr. Thanks again for stopping by!
