Mt. Hood rises over Oregon's Hood River Valley and flowering fruit trees.
Sunrise over the western Lake District fells from Woodend Height summit.

This time of year a pretty magical thing happens here on the back waters of the Mississippi River in Wisconsin. It's a Flyway. A hi-way in the sky, used by 325 bird species and roughly 40 percent of shorebirds and waterfowl in North America. The National Wildlife Refuge will soon be filled to capacity as they stop over in the waters of the beautiful Driftless on their road trip south. Lucky ducks.

The (Australian native-) Gymea lily is one of the tallest flowers in the world. It can reach up to 4 meters in height. Of course it is not as tall as the 'Tower of Power', that is just the PoV. Such lovely flowers

This past week I explored a new provincial park called Height of the Rockies, one of the more remote and wild places I have been to. On the trail to Connor Lakes and back (pictured here) I ran into a huge bear, multiple grouse, snowshoe hares, ground squirrels, a pack of grey wolves stalking an elk, and zero other people. I hope there continues to be places like this in the future!
Winning an argument by taking the high moral ground. Pair of Bald Eagles in a staring competition above the Chilko River.
It is smaller than the Gundam in Odaiba, but Mori Hikari in Shiodome is huge.
Even though she is big, she is unlikely to help disaster restoration.
Colourful moorland view from White Lee moor on todays excellent walk.
A shot from Coigach taken while fishing for Pollock. These beautiful clouds started forming and lit up the sky over Stac Pollaidh and Cul Mor. I also caught lots of fish, so a brilliant evening all around. The Ideal Height is a track by Biffy Clyro, and is fine.
Alhamdulillah, cantik betul masa ni

Thanks for your viewing, comments, notes and fave on my picture.
A great view from the top of Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons of an imminent snow shower approaching. The beautiful lines and curves of these ridges makes up for any lack of rocky cliffs. I love the wintry feel of this one, and the Ideal Height by Biffy Clyro is perfect as in the hills the ideal height is at the top looking down.
For those who enjoyed seeing our photo "Event Horizon" earlier in the week, here is one of the street level figures. Anthony Gormley is a lot taller than me, but nearly everyone is!
