This was taken on the yellowstone lake where a gentle wave was working on due to the wind. I wish I had a ND filter back then. This is a merge of 3 bracketed shots in PS CC using luminosity masks.
Getting dangerously close to farm traffic. Wouldn't want to see it end up as road kill, but yelling at it didn't budge its determination.

Low mist hanging over the water. Calm. Dragonflies escorting the bow through their territory. Longnose gars always curious.
70 to mid 80s. Water down 1 to 1-1/2 feet. Little current even after raining the previous night. Pontoon boat passed me going upstream earlier. Saw one kingfisher and no other birds. No homes. Adjacent lands are farm or forest properties. The way the river is/was before Lake Murray was built.
took 2 shots, aligned with align_image_stack, "enfused" with enfuse, edited with darktable (contrast, saturation tonecurves, lowpass filter, color zones) and then edited the same image with snapseed (hdrscape). opened edited images with gimp and i keeped the sky from snapseed image.

Only as much post-processing as one can do on an iPad with some extra contrast, sharpness and Snapseed's HDRscape filter.
I took this photo at the Kinderdijk Park in 2013. This year I decided to re-process the raw files with new HDR technique. For this photo I blended the lighting shot with the mill foreground and I reprocessed the water reflection. This is a HDR photo (~0.7 stops). I tried to keep the HDR soft and as natural as possible. Colours have been saturated as I like them more intense than normal. This photo is a post processing composition too. Comments welcomed.

An evening walk through the local wine country. Everything is finally melting after an awful winter.
I took a stroll through one of the local antique stores. This is the biggest one in my area and has a ton of vintage stuff. I find shooting at a place like this gets the creative juices flowing..
