My ride: 2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe
There is much to be said about picking a direction on an unfamiliar road and heading out with no time constraints or a final destination in mind. Each trip is a new adventure of sorts. Looking at the new surroundings and eager to see what's beyond the next turn in the road is a real adrenaline push.
Unforturnatrely, with the rainy season underway and winter soon to follow, it's almost time to store her away again as a "Garage Queen" for a few months :cry:
This series of 3 amazing wood carvings of motorcycles are intricately crafted by Dan Reimer of Abbotsford, BC. The first is of the first Harley-Davidson; the second is of the 100 year anniversary edition. Some talent! They are on display at Rose's Café. Some day I'd love to see them photographed with better lighting and backgrounds.

№㉔ my dog harley is 12 years old. he weighs 2.7 pounds and he is the k-9 equivalent of a super adorable old man.
Shot on a fairly dismal morning in La Villajoyosa, Alicante.
The houses in the old quarter are painted in strong, vibrant colours...each one differing from its neighbours.
But sod all that here’s a Harley. Back in my hometown this would have been ‘half-inched’ within the hour.

Harley-Davidson(NYSE: HOG, formerly HDI), often abbreviated H-D or Harley, is an American motorcycle manufacturer. Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during the first decade of the 20th century, it was one of two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression. Harley-Davidson also survived a period of poor quality control and competition from Japanese manufacturers.
The company sells heavyweight (over 750 cc) motorcycles designed for cruising on the highway. Harley-Davidson motorcycles (popularly known as "Harleys") have a distinctive design and exhaust note. They are especially noted for the tradition of heavy customization that gave rise to the chopper-style of motorcycle. Except for the modern VRSC model family, current Harley-Davidson motorcycles reflect the styles of classic Harley designs. Harley-Davidson's attempts to establish itself in the light motorcycle market have met with limited success and have largely been abandoned since the 1978 sale of its Italian Aermacchi subsidiary.
Harley-Davidson sustains a loyal brand community which keeps active through clubs, events, and a museum. Licensing of the Harley-Davidson logo accounts for almost 5% of the company's net revenue.

This Harley Davidson is an old miniature motorcycle and belongs to my dad. My parents are on holidays at the moment and I water their garden every evening. While the lawn sprinklers were doing their job I looked for something to photograph and found this motorcycle. The background is a mixture of evening light and the water spray of the sprinklers which turned out quite interesting.
