After he destroyed it. All the kittens like to rip paper bags apart. I don't know why but the first thing they do when they get on is start to rip them apart. I have a lovely mess to clean up after they have had their fun. Happy Caturday!

Carl was the very last kitten to be brought into our clinic from last year's kitten season. Between May 1st and Nov 20th our practice took in nearly 25 kittens that we then fostered until they were ready to be adopted out. A few were posted on Flickr: Skutch, Speedy, Perky, Riceball, Carl and Pidge. Skutch was one of the first of last year's batch to be adopted and my personal favorite, Riceball, was the last.
Last week, the first of the new batch arrived - 2 little black kittens too young to eat on their own with goopy eyes and soft stool. One of our receptionists took them home to foster until they are old enough to eat on their own. At that point, they'll come back to the clinic and when they are completely healthy they'll be puy up for adoption.
Besides announcing the beginning of the new kitten season, Carl is VERY proud of being the icon for the Happy Caturday! group.

Aedian has no idea that one day he may be forced to wear a humiliating Halloween costume. Just ask Jimmy and Mack who have been compelled to dress up as a jester, a goldfish, a cowboy, a pirate and as Carmen Miranda. It's hard to maintain a reputation of fierceness in front of Dirt when wearing fruit or bells on your head.

I didn't want to capture Rubio with my big zoom lens.
I know he is only a little part in the image.
I just wanted show us the rear side of our house where Rubio likes to control the street crossing (not visible in the image), on top of the roof of our garage, in the corner.
In the summer, by night, is one of his favorite places.
For getting this position, Rubio have to go first from our terrace, seaside, to the neighbor terrace, after to the roof of a one floor house, then he walks around and arrive to the backside of the houses and walking for the roofs he can to arrive to this position.

This is a stray that has decided to hang out at my house recently and I thought I would use him for our Caturday theme. He's very friendly and sweet. I don't know what to do with him exactly, as he isn't really interested in staying for long, but loves to chase the birds at our feeder. Sadly, he's not a very good bird catcher, (good for the birds, tho). I hate the thought of him being outside all the time. Happy Caturday!
She's not so much supervising as she is knocking things off the nightstand so I will get out of bed. She also likes to bring me toys and then sit on the nightstand and wait for me to throw them so she can play chase. Happy Caturday!

So...we are trying on another name for this little girl. Tank doesn't fit her anymore, as she isn't the biggest one. And please welcome her to the family, as I am a "foster failure" and her and her brother and sister will be staying in this house. (It's my husband's fault!) ;-)

I love how the kittens sleep. They start out in a bundle in the center of the bed and then they end up like this!. And I mostly have pictures of them sleeping because they are a moving target when they are awake and almost impossible to get a photo that isn't blurry.
