This is the most challenging street to cross in Hanoi, there is no concept of right of way and anyone can go at any direction.
This was shot while having a taste of Vietnamese coffee at Illy's.

Κάθε ένας από αυτούς έχει το όνομα των τεχνιτών (συντεχνίας) που βρίσκονταν σ'αυτό το δρόμο. Για παράδειγμα Pho Hang Bac, "Pho" δρόμος, "Bac" ασήμι, άρα ο δρόμος των αργυροχόων.

Urbanisation process of the periphery of Hanoi, with its typical mix of water bodies, informal houses, higher buildings and technological networks.
Typical village landscape in Hanoi. Presently threathened by large urban developments at the periphery of the city. The city has been built on large water areas that are progressively reduced to residual water ponds as the one that appears on this picture.
Today, the deserted rail tracks in Hanoi serve as welcome extension of an urban kitchen, for example washing salad outside in the sun.
The Building in the right, it currently the highest Keangnam Land mark tower 72 floors building in Hanoi and Vietnam. Taken through glass from the Manor Building at my sister home in Hanoi at 14 floors.
