Why stick with single point perspective photography when shooting Hackday? Nods to David Hockney of course.

This is assembled from 60 photos resulting in a 150M pixel photo that is over 600MB in photoshop.

This photo was featured in Flickr's blog story about HackDay.

After playing at Yahoo! Hack Day, Beck asked what was going down - there were tents being set up on the lawn at Yahoo! for the evening, where people would in fact be crashing overnight.

Here's a brief video (Quicktime 7, h.264 - "save as" rather than view in-browser, if you can.)

This is part of a longer 7-minute video from the show.

Clearly pictured (L-R) are Beck, Brian LeBarton (keyboards), Bradley Horowitz (Y!) and Chad Dickerson (Y!), also a big Beck fan from what I've been told.

I didn't talk to him at Yahoo!, but I met Beck after a show in Santa Cruz last year (with two other people, and that was it for the crowd!), which was an amazing experience.

I did catch up with Brian Lebarton though, the keyboardist (I think that's right!) - I had met him last year in Santa Cruz as well and as he was new to Beck's band, I didn't know who he was and felt kind of stupid; I caught up with him this year, thanked him for the show and for signing a record I had brought with me (Beck too!)

Brian said he remembered meeting me, which was cool, but he might have just been saying that. ;) Anyway, regardless to say it was an awesome evening.

I've also written about Beck at Hack Day on my personal site.

Phew, that's a lot. ;)
