Based off of the RX-78.

Gundam (ガンダム, Gandamu?) is a metaseries of Japanese anime, featuring giant robots, or "mecha", created by Sunrise studios. The series started in April 1979 as a TV series called Mobile Suit Gundam, and later became a franchise name with more sequels, prequels, side stories and alternative timelines, published and aired in various media including TV anime, OVA, manga, novels, and video games. Gundam became a collective term for 7 different time lines, all featuring their own story-lines, with a few common denominators and war machines called Gundam. source

Special thanks to Raymund for lending me his Gundam miniatures for me to play with.

The RX-79 was built by the Federation during the 1 year war. While not as powerful as the original gundam these mobile suits were easier to produce and matched the performance of the Zeon Zaku very well.

GUNDAM @ Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan

During the last day of Gundam in Shizuoka, Japan. Because of Power-Saving we were not able to see the lights of Gundam.

Paying Homage to Gundam, as I grew up watching these mecha series.

This is my take on a character using the Lego Miniland Scale of 1:20. I try to do iconic Characters and pixlexing them. :)

Gundam HeavyArms Custom from the "Endless Waltz" film.

This Gundam was one of the hardest MOCs I've ever built because, for one, I'm not a big space builder, and two, I made every part on this Gundam functional. Everything on it from the leg launchers to the fingers are posable. The legs, ankles, knees, arms and torso are fully posable too. But the MOC is very heavy for it to stand on its own, so it needs a support column to stand.

Gundam display at takashimaya

I had some stupid Idea in my head that I could build a Plan 303E Deep Striker. It is such a crazy over-the-top Gundam, its got that 80s excess and still looks fresh. I soon realised that it would be pretty hard to do so I settled for the MSA-0011(Ext) Ex-S but even it was a little large and silly looking. The end result was half way between the MSA-0011(Ext) Ex-S and the MSA-0011 S with most of the back bit removed and a few other colour/shape mods.

Promised a while back I'd post a couple shots of it. It's the same size as an Assault Kingdom figure, but is really just a detailed statue, nothing more, nothing less.

Picked this up for $10 at a con at the start of 2015, guy I got it from said he had just imported them and they were a new release for the end of 2014 and start of 2015.

Modeled by Volks Inc., it's a really nice sculpt, super accurate for the size, and an awesome piece to have on display. If you ever get a chance to get one do it, it's a nice little piece.

My second version of this gundam. I added some stuff and changed some other things. I hope you like it. By the way, expect a desert version of the Zaku soon :D
