This is the cantaloupe, it appears that part of the plant is shutting down.

day 27

~ seeded April 24 ~

I got home early on Friday and decided to check out the raspberry patch in the backyard. It’s right on the property line but the neighbors said I could pick them if they were out and O-my were they ever. The birds didn’t get them like last time. I picked a whole big glass bowl of them and for breakfast we had pancakes with whipped cream and raspberries. Delicious. No pesticides, no food coloring, no crap, just raspberries the way that nature intended. Fantastic! I’m going back for more. FYI I also picked some for the neighbor’s and added two large tomatoes from our garden. It’s a fair trade

I'm going to pick more and freeze them for the winter. Also maybe make some raspberry preserves and give them out for the holidays. I think that is a fantastic gift to give rather than more crap that no one needs.

I didn't expect these to sprout since the seed packet said they were from 2014.
