This is one of the places we walk Jasmine. These trees are totally covered with green moss and ferns. With all the rain we get...it's no surprise. More below.

So here we are, last day of 2011. It's been such a good year. Looking back 365 days ago, I remember my 2011 resolution so clearly: I wanted to suffer from less anxiety in my life. I even got a lovely mantra necklace from an Etsy shop. I chose the word Ease and even though I went through some hard months in which I somehow ignore my mantra word (mostly due to work) I think I was able to rejoice in the good and let go what I couldn't control. Life can be so hectic, so stressful, so cluttered with meaningless issues that affect body and mind that sometimes one forgets to seize what really matters. This 2012 is going to be so full of changes, I'm so excited but at the same time I'm also a bit afraid of what is coming and so for this new year my resolution continues on the same path so I will not only be caught by anxiety but also not to lose track of who I am, neglect myself or forget what really matters to me.
Now to end this post, here are my top 5 things I really really loved about this 2011:
1) Analog Photography: I'm so glad I gave myself to film Photography. I remember having read on Leslie Thomson's Flickr Profile that she loved to emulated film and so she chose to shoot with film. That was such an epiphany for me, trying to process my digital captures to give them that "film" look for so long. That was the moment I realized I should give it a try. Now I'm in love with film and It's thanks to you and your support in every comment and fave that I keep going and growing.
2) Coachella and San Francisco: I'm so grateful for San Francisco and how inspiring that city was for my photography. First trip I shoot with nothing but film -8 rolls of beautiful captures. And Coachella, oh Coachella. it was a life changing experience to be able to enjoy 3 days of music with so so many favorite bands. Music feeds the soul my friends.
3) Juicing: and everything that it represents; a healthy habit now that has become a healthier lifestyle. It all began with one cucumber, one zucchini and one green apple.
4) The "Aquelarre": 5 wonderful ladies I was lucky to find at my work place. These past year we have become such good friends. It's thanks to them that everything is lighter, laughable and prettier.
5) Baby Lucas: He hasn't born yet and we are already in loved with him. The whole pregnancy experience has been incredibly magical. I've got to know myself deeply, I've seen one of my Darling's most beautiful sides and I'm carrying a little baby boy who already has made so many people so happy.
This year definitely rocked!
Wishing you all the best for 2012!
Love
