I'm off on an adventure, so I'll catch up soon
I finally made it. An education 20 years in the making, ironically completed in 2020. Those of you who cared and wondered where I disappeared to, I've been working on my education. It's taken a few twists and turns, it's been rocky and there have been more than a few times I have wanted to quit. I couldn't have done it without letting go of SL for awhile. But here I am, a college graduate! Ok... now what?
No in-person graduation this year so one tribute is this poster in a downtown business window containing the names of all Watertown High School 2020 graduates.
Pro-democracy demonstrations continued downtown yesterday in support of the two people arrested the day before until they were released on bail. Trending number one on Thai Twitter I noticed was a call for new university graduates to boycott their graduation ceremonies where a representative of the monarchy usually hands out diplomas.
I captured this shot during Jackson's high school graduation which took place in the Utah Valley University auditorium. They kept the lights over the crowd of graduates frustratingly dim, however, this blond girl in the photo appeared to have a beam of light on her from somewhere. The illumination really made her stand out and glow. Her very blond hair also had something to do with it. Overall the ceremony was about 2 1/2 hours so it was tough to still seem interested by the end.
My oldest son Sam graduated from Purdue this weekend. A proud moment for us all. Here he is in his cap and gown giving his younger brother a pre commencement bear hug. I think we have the Christmas photo taken care of!
On Moscow's metro system got this shot of a happy graduate with an expression full of possibilities.
Charlie has graduated. Only 16-or-so more years of school to go (must have been a philosophy major).
David graduates with a Diploma of Family History from UTAS (University of Tasmania) Hobart

"My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too. This is my wish."

Well, I don't think graduated is the proper word... The point is, I have completed my Master courses and I'm officialy an astrophysicist! Yey!
Now I'm kinda trying to get something to do for living, it's highly probably that I'll start a doctorate but let's see if I get a project I like <3 So I'll still be busy like always, but I'll try to resume my usual activity schedule. I have quite a few MOCs to comment yet!
One of many graduation cards that Betty Jayne saved. All of them are so beautiful, it was difficult to just choose one. On the reverse it says "Congratulations, pal - Anna
Two recent graduates who struggled to find jobs upon leaving university, start their working lives selling nuts. Their's is a common tale; the result of ever-rising university attendance numbers, and what the Chinese call 'the global financial crisis caused by America'.
We were in St. Andrews, Scotland, on graduation day for the University of St. Andrews. It is one of the best schools in the United Kingdom.
Recently i've been making the most of the crop fields near to where me and my girlfriend live. This time of year they offer decent foreground interest with the crops and trees and the wide open skies can be quite dramatic!
Taken with a a graduated filter about 45min before sunset
Karen came to live with us when she was 18 year old exchange student from New Zealand--over 18 years ago. She had unique artistic gifts and a unique way of seeing the world in general.
Today she has a career as a creative type in the movie industry in her homeland. As she begins to head towards the middle-life stage she will undoubtedly have many reflections and questions to guide her.
