Yee-haw...its that time of year again..where all us Texans dress up and pretend to be the cowfolk most people think we are. So the truth is my daughter is wearing the hand me down,hand me down, hand me down boots of my oldest son, which means this is the fourth time since their purchase they have been worn. When she was getting ready to "go western" she said "mom all cowboys have a guitar" so there we have it!
Other than "W" most Texans dust off their boots and hats only at rodeo time, where we procede to watch concerts, eat barbeque, drink beer and watch grown men wrestle,ride and rope their way to some pretty serious bruises all in the name of being a "Texan"

Texan Week here in Houston and is leading up to the beginning
of this year's world famous Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

These trail riders have been on the trail ride for a week here in Texas some from as far away as Louisiana and some even from Texas Mexico border.....riding through the crazy weather we have had this week, rain, snow, sleet, wind, ice, and sunshine....and still smiling...wow...that is fun!!!
