The 30% of the Trans-Mongolian railway line passing through the Gobi desert territory. The Gobi's landscape is more flatter than north parts. Surrounded rocky mountains, several sand dunes, cliffs, and small canyons. Near the Sumangiin Zoo and Ulaan Uul stations, there have several of the tight curves and steep gradients. Our Gobi tour's itineraries include these places and make unusual railfanning opportunities.
