Gili Air is situed in the north of Lombok in Indonesia. Gili Air is one very small island and realy quiet place, whithout scooter or engine vehicule. It has a population of about 1,800.
The island offers excellent snorkelling and scuba diving off its east coast, and turtles can be seen along the coral reef.

This was my most beautiful sunrise ever. It's on top of the second bigest vulcano in indonesia, Rinjani. In the back you can see bali, the gili islands and the stunning shadow of Rinjani itself.

These leathery flowers were growing on a bush on Gili Meno, a dry island off the coast of Lombok, Indonesia.
This relaxing view is possible on Gili Air island between Bali and Lombok, Indonesia. In the background rises Gunung Rinjani, the second highest mountain in Indonesia. Where the water becomes deep blue are corals ideal for diving.
The small chilled alleyways in Gili T, no cars, no scooters, just horse-drawn carriage and bicycles.

This strange flower was growing on a tree on the dry island of Gili Meno, between Bali and Lombok in Indonesia. The petals of the flowers look like little tongues. This is the original composition on the tree as they were growing near the beach.
