This is what I have in my Geocaching Backpack.
Usually I also have some TP and some dry socks and underwear,
and for an all day-trip some sandwiches and/or energy bars.
And for my head I have a "The North Face Class V Brimmer" hat.

This was the location of the 15th cache, and we sat working out the clues to the bonus, as a serious snow cloud headed towards us.

This is was quite a challenge. As we recently moved house I didn't had much time to try and find hidden treasures during the week. On Sunday girls and myself set off to local woods to find 2 Geocaching or as girls said "treasure hunting".
Not sure what we were doing wrong but we could not find those "treasures". After spending nearly 20 min in each location. The girls gave up but we enjoyed lovely walk in the woods.

Geocaching, auch GPS-Schnitzeljagd genannt, ist eine Art elektronische Schatzsuche oder Schnitzeljagd. Die Verstecke „Geocaches“, kurz „Caches“ werden anhand geografischer Koordinaten im Internet veröffentlicht und können anschließend mit Hilfe eines GPS-Empfängers gesucht werden. Mit genauen Landkarten ist auch die Suche ohne GPS-Empfänger möglich. Ein Geocache ist in der Regel ein wasserdichter Behälter, in dem sich ein Logbuch sowie verschiedene kleine Tauschgegenstände befinden. Der Besucher kann sich in ein Logbuch eintragen, um seine erfolgreiche Suche zu dokumentieren. Anschließend wird der Geocache wieder an der Stelle versteckt, an der er zuvor gefunden wurde. Der Fund kann im Internet auf der zugehörigen Seite vermerkt und gegebenenfalls durch Fotos ergänzt werden. So können auch andere Personen – insbesondere der Verstecker oder „Owner“ (englisch für „Eigentümer“) – die Geschehnisse rund um den Geocache verfolgen. Wesentlich beim gesamten Such- und Tauschvorgang ist, dass von anderen anwesenden Personen das Vorhaben nicht erkannt wird und so der Cache Uneingeweihten verborgen bleibt. (Wikipedia)
