Gent is a city and a municipality located in the Flemish region, Belgium. It is the capital and biggest city of the East Flanders province. The city started as a settlement at the confluence of the Rivers Scheldt and Lys and became in the Middle Ages one of the largest and richest cities of northern Europe. Today it is a busy city with a port and a university.

Graslei and Korenlei are some of the most scenic areas of Gent in Belgium.
I am fully aware that this is not the most creative picture because it has been taken a million times already. But you know what - you are there, you have your camera with you, it is blue hour, you take the shot! :)
Tot seguint la inspiració d'un que en sap molt més que jo.

Gent.
De Leie met op de achtergrond de Zuivelbrug. Vanaf deze brug is de vierkante schoorsteen " Molens Goedhals" goed te zien.

Gent, Sint-Michielsbrug. This elegant one-arched bridge on the Leie was completed in 1908 and takes its name from the small statue of Saint Michael slaying the dragon in the middle of it. Since it offers one of the most striking views on the historical centre, it is the ideal place to start a discovery of Gent. The massive church in late gothic style (St. Michaels) next to it was begun in the first half of the 15th century but only completed four centuries later. The central tower, destined to become one of the
highest in this country, unfortunately never was.

Another one from the very cool photowalk in Gent, Belgium with Erroba and Michael Rathmann. This time a view from a bridge [don't ask me names, me know nothing], on the river Leie next to the Saint Michaels Church [if I ain't wrong].
3 standard RAW exposures HDR, 3~way masked for colorbalance. Just testing the technique on adjustment layers, another approach on my workflow I saw at Erlend's place the other day.

My sixth upload of the very fun photowalk I had with Erroba and Michael Rathmann in Gent the other day. What we see here is the Beer House, near the river bank. I was very lucky the touristboat wasn't moving for a split second, so I took my three captures for the HDR. It was a great day in a lovely, photogenic city.

About
Another shot in the Gent series, I'm not 100% sure but I think this one is taken from the 'Onthoofdingsbrug' ( bridge of decapitation :O ).
If someone can confirm this ?
If someone knows what all the ? signs are for...
The shot
Standard 3 exposures HDR on a tripod using the Sigma 10-20mm lens and a polarizer.
Photoshop
A little Curves.
There was an artifact on the water reflection of the spot, so I filled that in and blurred it in.
Some more saturation on the yellows and reds.
Some dodging.
