I went to a conference in Estes Park, Colorado, for work this week but managed to sneak away for a long hike in the surrounding mountains with a coworker and someone we met at the conference. Little did I realize it would be an 8-mile hike and a 2,000 foot ascent. If I'd known that, I would've brought better shoes! My feet are still sore! It was worth it, though, because we found the beautiful Gem Lake tucked away at the top of the mountain. It was late in the day, so the lighting wasn't great. I'd love to go back and photograph it earlier in the day.
Taken with a Canon 70D and a Rokinon HD8M-C 8mm f/3.5 HD fisheye lens.
