I love the beauty & elegance of Wisteria! This year, it's gracefulness covered the arbor

in my back garden. Hope you like it as much as I do =)

Garden Hedgehog. Wild and free. Photo Kevin Keatley, Camera Nikon D800, Lens Nikon 16-35mm@27mm, F16, 1/250 Sec., ISO 400, Camera and three flashes on manual, Time 22.12. I use an infra-red light beam to trigger the camera and the three flashes were placed one each side of the camera and one above pointing down. The two flashes at ground level had some white plastic over the flash heads and the one above had a 20cm soft box to help cut the shadows. I positioned the camera on one of our C14 Double bean bags, the two ground level flashes were on our E1 Ground spikes and the flash above was on the C22 Ultra pod mini clamp/tripod we supply. For anyone who wants to see the kit I use I've added a link to our site. www.wildlifewatchingsupplies.co.uk/retail/acatalog/

Day trip with Lee to a garden showing in Oconee. Beautiful landscaping, gardens, and flowers. And it was the only time it'll ever happen at that location. I consider myself extremely lucky.

This garden shed is behind the oldest house on Nantucket. The shed was built much later than the house, but it sure adds to the feel of the garden. This picture can also be found in the July/August edition of Old House Journal.

Scratching around trying to find something to photograph. Always head to the garden when I get desperate to shoot something.

WANNABE WARMER WEDNESDAY #8

I'm exceptionally late with this one but yesterday I fought my way to work in the snow and last night I was talking to a friend on the phone and lost all track of time. Those are the BEST conversations BAR NONE!!

I will be back to comment on all your wonderful work. PROMISE!!

The gardens at Blair Castle are fairly gigantic. I spent some time in the walled garden known as Hercules' Garden (there's a large statue of said Greek hero that overlooks the garden). There were pictures everywhere, as there often are in gardens, and this was at the far east end of the garden.

Happy Sunny Sunday! It has been happy gardening for me, finding little treasures as I work .. but boy the day gets away from me this first day of daylight savings time. Time is going faster than me!
