From back in the day when "Gangstas" were respectable businessmen on top of being Gangsters, not thugs with guns that don't know how to dress or act right.
I've been reading a book called "Public Enemies." The setting is mostly the midwestern U.S. and chronicles the exploits of John Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson, the Barkers, Machine Gun Kelly, and Bonnie & Clyde during 1933-1934. These gangsters took the art of bank robbing to a new level. In fact, I think they referred to themselves as bank robbers on their resumes. Automobiles are what gave them their power. Without cars like the ones above, they would have been punchless. And they wouldn't have had those rear windows to blaze away with their submachine guns from.

an oldie from the archives... the good ol days when i was carefree and had the most awesome group of friends..
this was taken at one of those olde time photo places on the jersey shore boardwalk... last weekend i went to a friend's party and she pulled out this photograph..i begged her to scan it and email it to me. it was one of the happiest, best times in my life, so i adore seeing it again.
just wanted to post something fun... sorry i have been MIA.. been going through some "stuff" and i guess i needed to take a break and do some soul searching...
