This shot was taken broad daylight. The yellow house is beginning to decline and decay, in tune with the old tree. I added texture, and the full moon from another of my shots and finally achieved the look I sensed when looking at the house.

All those golden autumn days the sky was full of wings. Wings beating low over the blue water of Silver Lake, wings beating high in the blue air far above it . . . bearing them all away to the green fields in the South.

The full moon rising over a farm house at Loch Leven.

Another night shot. I took this because I don't live next to the ocean and I may never see the moon over the water again. Well, I suppose I could see it over a lake but I'm not sure it would be the same.

Always something special to see the full moon rising over the emptyness of the Makgadikgadi Pans. We drove onto the pans and first enjoy a spec. sunset and after that we witnessed a breathtaking moonrise !

10:30pm. Decided to stop by this spot on the way home last night as the full moon reflection angle looked like it would align perfectly with Natural Bridges keyhole feature. Finally my first time on this beach alone with just my gear. Single exposure.

This week's full moon rose to the south east of the city of Bristol and Cliftonwood made for a great vantage point over the Floating Harbour to watch it with friends.

A double full rainbow..and the wish for a fisheye to capture it ;o))

The ponds where we were staying on our holidays were full of these lilies.

I just couldn't get that full moon out of my mind yesterday and just HAD to try to paint it. It took several attempts to come close to what I 'think' I saw ...and I'd like to try several more 'night' scenes. I love sunrises and sunsets, and there's a certain wonder I feel when I watch a moon rise up from the earth's rim, through the wispy bare branches of my trees, and take it's place among the stars. Capturing that 'magic' is going to be interesting! LOL

It's raining already, and the cats have been nestled in their bed on the porch. Pre-op chores are done and today it's working on holiday decorations and preparations. I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around Christmas being mere weeks away!

Stay dry today -- and warm! If it's going to be another grey, cold day, I'm wishing for SNOW!

Not sure whose texture this is! if anyone knows, please let me know.. I think its Lenabem-Anna

Sunset @ 8:02pm Moonrise @ 7:50 pm ! It was so cloudy today & I only had 10 mins to see the full at SF Marine national historical park !!

The "super" full moon. There were lots of people out watching and taking pictures of it. Here it is rising over Tampa Bay.

It was ~low tide, so I'm standing about 50' father out than usually possible while still staying (mostly) dry.

Third series photo Full Light on the 12.19 h in Calas de Roche, Conil de la Frontera, Cádiz.

The Nigg to Cromarty ferry "Renfrew Rose" departing with a full load, yes only 1 campervan!! I don't think i would risk trying to get my car up the ramp onto the ferry, it looked pretty dodgy to me. Some great light in between the rain showers.
