Tis the season! One of my best Oregon memories is family picnics and fresh strawberry pie. Now I grow these sweet and juicy berries in pots instead of picking them from long rows that seemed to go on forever until they reached beautiful snowcapped Mt. Hood. Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Although my other POD represents the day better, I couldn't resist sharing this photo of the berries my cousin put out for one of our dessert choices after the Seder - especially since they fit the CY365 "color" prompt. I took this photo at f/1.8, and a few more at f/5.6 or more. I wish I had one somewhere in between - f/2.8 or f/3.2. Oh well. I still like this.
No invites or comments please, I promised a friend I will post this,
I just want to sweeten your day or night:-)
I cut this Today at our stores side garden, we have two trees that
are loaded with figs and they are dripping with honey,
I collected about 30 of them and the best way to eat them is with the skin,
Delicious!
There is something very sensual about fruit. Their shapes, the moist fruit flesh, the little hair that looks outward.
My head feels like wrapped in cotton, creativity is zero, so sorry for my bad activity the last few days.
We still have a lot of hot. 30-33 C. With only one fan on the floor I can not get cool in my apartment. Now there are no fans to buy in Sweden. Yes, in any case, it was a new experience with this hot summer.
We are fortunate that no people died in the fires. There are places that get worse.
Warm greetings to all of my Flickr friends .-

It was very cold this morning and going out was farthest to my lazy mind. But I wanted to shoot and therefore I have to contend with what I have at home just to be able to do it.

The first year of fruit on my raspberry bush and unfortunately most were either munched by bugs or snaffled by other garden menaces.
Still... I managed a photo of one of them so it wasn't all bad :)
