Abbandono

a bit of frayed ribbon

these jeans are old, ragged, worn, frayed at the edges and even have some holes in the knees but I can't give them up... they're soft, comfy and an old favorite.

More changes apparently has been made on flickr again. It really did not need another "facelift" in my opinion nor did it the first time several months ago; which led to some users move to another site. I read some of the feedback and it seems to be 99.9% against lol

I hope the flickr team take that into consideration and revert back :)

(Ack I just realized added prev post with photos doesnt work anymore :(

Happy early fence Friday!

The torn edge of a piece of paper handdrawn with stripes of oil pastel colour. The edge of this piece of ordinary printer paper, has frayed in a way that suggests fabric instead of paper.

this is a close up of a piece of cheap but colorful fabric threaded and tied in a chain link fence. i overlaid it with one of my wall textures from mexico. HSS!

This was one of the huge ropes tying down two huge ships together.....I just loved the details......

I love these frayed, frizzle frazzled lace-like Tulips!

On the Continent, for some reason they call them ‘frisée’ which means curly? Mmmm

I like it so much I took a very close-up. LOL

Have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

Saw this before touring a WWII "Victory" Ship museum in Tampa.

The real beauty in life is in the details so often overlooked.

Photo taken on the South Shore of the St. Lawrence in Levis, Quebec across from Quebec City.

these white 'frayed' tulips were just beautiful, some of the rarest I've seen. Fighting for a prime place in the photo, it looks like!

My poor faerie mate has not been eating well. The stress gremlins stole the appetite right from her soul. Now on the turning point of regaining happiness, I find her a bit shrunken, but still beautiful. We decided to do a small series of shots accentuating her bones, and sharing the sadness before she fluffs back to normal.
