Sadly I can see that the quick short foliage viewing time is quickly coming to an end. As much as we enjoy the great views we know that the inevitability of the colors becoming less and less vivid we realize our most colorful season is coming to a close.

I went searching for shades of yellow today, but only seemed to have found this red and green shot, with white sky.

I suppose this fuzz is to deter insects, but it probably has a matching specialized insect pest that can poke through the fuzz..
