As part of the 5th FLOSS Usability Sprint Event, on Thursday, November 11, 2007, Oracle Applications User Experience hosted the Open Source Applications Foundation on their Chandler Project. Oracle UX designers and usability engineers helped Chandler prepare and run a usability pilot test on their product. Goals:

* Create proper usability testing script which Chandler can use for future and further testing purposes.

* Run a pilot session with 2 participants.

* Introduce Chandler development to formal usability testing process, inculding process and benefits

A second stage whiteboard in a four stage brainstorming. The red resulted from an "I want..." exercise. The group then tagged each statement in green. Note the numbered columns, which were used as human-friendly addresses for discussing specific statements. The third stage was to tally the tags. The fourth stage was for clustering/voting on tags that people were interested in (independent of the tallies from the third stage).

Ate lunch at the Google cafeteria today, and saw a friendly face on the wall. It made me a bit sad, though; I didn't realize they had him pimping cereal. Those folks at Google are slave drivers.
