Paul was fishing into the dried river bed on the left side of twin waddies in around 45 foot of water, he seemed to have it licked by session end with snakeskin gold a size 7 Atomic claw and 3 hand picked grains of maize. Top angler.
I didn't happen to catch the name of this beauty, but it is most likely in the Pseudochromis family.

Local men stand inside the newly constructed fish market making bids on the fresh fish from the mornings catch. The fish market was officially opened in August through the AusAID funded project in the fishing village.

This was photographed at an excellent aquarium in Cape Town, There were hundreds of these fish in one tank.

Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as personal favorite.
In Chinatown these fish wait in ice, caught just hours ago, to be dinner for someone, a restaurant or a home. Strange to my way of life but perfectly in place here.
Some of the fish will drive cabs, some sell trinkets, others will lead tours.
This is a rather interesting time as we shut down all our work in Hawaii and bid farewell to 25 plus years of work on the islands. I will miss the people, the places and all the stories.
My friend Bjørn (wich in norwegian means bear) with a 4,4 pound seatraout caught on fly in Norway 6.08.09. I like his confident almost-smile.
