Try shooting high ISOat ISO 4000 with handheld in the aquarium. The above shot has a clear water reflection. The place is an aquarium in Bang Sai, Ayutthaya. :)

One of my goldfish, Nemo the fantail. He got his name because of a half-missing fin. Most of my fish are named after guitarists. I would post pictures of them all, but they are damn hard to photograph.

Despite the PADI course, I still suck at fish identification. What can I say, I'm landlocked. Denver Zoo.

A small fish, at the aquarium. I haven't yet identified what kind of fish it is.

Common shiners are an abundant fish in many waters and the males develop bright red fins during breeding season.

I don't know what kind of fish these are. This was at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.

My wife speared the Lion Fish to feed the sharks and Morays. Since Lion Fish are not native to the reef in Belize, and actually cause harm to its overall health by eating the smaller fish, it is the only fish you are allowed to hunt.

Capture of this fish there at the Tampa Aquarium.

Gaps in the fundamentals of life

.. at the Vancouver Aquarium.

i love the swarms of fish at PetSmart.

I suggested to my five-year-old son that we should get a goldfish, and asked what he thought we should name him. Without missing a beat, he replied, "Carlos K. Krinklebein," but then refused to give any explanation for (what seemed to me, at any rate) an ornate suggestion from someone his age. Much later I discovered that there is a (not terribly surprising) source for this suggestion.

Needless to say, our fish is now named Carlos K. Krinklebein.

Looks better if you View On Black.

Betta fish on black background.

This fish was racing around in a big tank at a science museum, and it gave me a chance to try my hand at panning. It is not easy folks, and I had to shoot through glass with reflected room lights.

Had a family day out to Melbourne Aquarium. Taking the photo's was'nt as easy as I had first thought. Since it is summer school holiday's you have to battle with the people, children and all the camera's...lol. It was a good day!

When I see you coming I just have to run

You're not good and you certainly aren't very much fun

When I see you walking down the street

I step on your hand and I mangle your feet

The Lion Fish is a venomous marine fish but it's still used in cooking and popular in aquariums. It has very showy fins and spiky fin rays. I was surprised at how tiny this guy was. Seen in Dragon Aquarium. Winner, Symmetry contest, Deep Colors of Nature.
