I never knew Cilanto had flowers so beautiful and delicate !
For the theme of "Into The Light" for the Big Five-Two Group.
Enjoy your weekend!
Due to me forgetting that I had left.my tripod in the hotel room rather than the car and then thinking I can't be bothered to fetch it, I was forced to rethink what I could shoot in low light....the good thing with the ultra wide lense is that I can get away with hand holding the camera to fairly slow shutter speeds like this...
This shot was a bit of a last minute stop and shoot.... I went for a evening shoot locally. ..but was not in the mood for photography... a little bizarre considering ive just got my new camera. ...how one's mind works hey...
My first sunrise after moving to Wangi didn't disappoint.
I love the way the late afternoon sunlight is filtering through the japanese maple tree leaves in my front yard. The leaves are a pretty purplish with green but look almost golden in the sun. I don't really know how to make a predictably good shot into the sun like this. I try several camera settings and see what comes of it. I liked this one and also how it turned out with some edits in Lightroom.

Nothing special here but trying new filters in Firestorm viewer update plus more on an editing app.
I thought we were finished with smoke after the summer wildfires, but controlled burns on the east shore of Lake Tahoe created lots of smoke and haze. Clouds flowing down Ward Canyon added to an already eerie landscape. Despite the title, I did use a filter in my Photoshop processing.
Happy weekend! Thanks for stopping by -- I appreciate your of your kind comments.
