Remains of a 1955 Riley Pathfinder (?), now slowly rotting away in a corner of an industrial estate. Strange performance by today's standards - 2.5 L petrol engine, 0-60 mph in 17 seconds, less than 20 mpg on a good day. Correct me if I'm wrong with the car type, I don't know much about cars.

Shooting into the light at Rutland Water. Camera has some serious problems with halation - I can only think that the exposed metal from the film pressure plate (where the black paint has worn off) is causing this, although it seems unlikely given that many early cameras had unpainted metallic pressure plates. Still a really nice dream-like feel to this though to my eyes, not a modern look though.

Some tell-tale signs of a a scratched and grubby lens with the contrast dropping off in the distance. I did edit a version of this to be darker and more contrast-y but decided just to post the as-scanned one - you get what you're given with film. :-)

Yes, the Bramham Biggin has now been used as a film set for a number of films so the presentation reflects that this evening. The artificial drive is a new addition. You can write your own script.

Bramham Biggin is situated on Bramham Park and is Grade II* Listed The building dates in part from the 17th century and is constructed of local magnesian limestone with a stone slate roof, on the site of a medieval Nostell Priory monks' cell.

It was a college from 1842 to 1907 but closed because of a typhoid epidemic, the headmaster is buried in Bramham churchyard. Afterwards it became a private residence again.

Bramham Biggin is now vacant and has been for some time, so the three-storey house in the Bramham Park Estate is in a state of disrepair and English Heritage have now identified it as at risk.

From a walk out from Exton to the lake and Fort Henry. Nice sweeping view deserved a photo.
