I was on my way to shoot some pretty white fences on a horse ranch near us and well stuff got in the way! Sooo I found this fence which my friend calls a "Cowboy" fence and wanted to share with some of you "city" people that might not have seen one! lol
This beautiful home stood out as we travelled following the ice storm and a snowfall shortly after Christmas.

We have a fresh several inches of snow, which came in on a hard wind. The tulip shoots are covered and I had to shovel a drift from the steps. I will have to sweep off my car yet again. Last year at this time I was photographing buds opening on the forest shrubs. It's not so much that I dislike snow, but the anticipation of that wondeful feeling of elation that comes with new spring life that is wearing. Patience, Cindy.
This was taken last may on a visit to the city.

I took this one a couple of years ago. I was going to the Hot Sauce festival and parked too far away. I thought the sign was kind of funny, but I guess if you walk it everyday you might forget I've since found a better, closer place to park..;)
Tonight me and my meetup group are going to a Shelley King concert for Valentines. It should be fun. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

We had a power failure in the town I work on Tuesday afternoon from the brutul cold so I got to come home early and sneak in a shot before it got dark. The temps we're pushing the -30 mark
In fact the town I live close to in Central Alberta had the record for the coldest temps in North America Tuesday morning and 2nd coldest in the world. The only spot colder was in Antartica
Have a great Friday everyone, hopefully I can get out some this weekend cause we're gonna have a heat wave with temps alsmost up to the freezing mark :)

Went to my friends restaurant out on the lake yesterday and it was cold, even in side..;) Guess he's trying to save where ever he can. Winter isn't his best season. Anyway, the cold snap came a day early and everything was grey and cold, so I didn't really take any shots. At least nothing worth posting
