"Despite having wings, the puffin is a poor flier. It must flap its wings 300 to 400 beats per minute to stay airborne. It also has trouble landing gracefully and often crashes and tumbles onto the sea or grass. But the puffin is a strong swimmer and its wings serve it best by helping it “fly” underwater.
The puffin comes to land to burrow and breed for four to five months a year."

Friedrich's family to the Fritzlarer provost Gumbert offered to the penalty obliged her endowment around the moor, so Haydau. On the 23rd of January, 1235 provost Gumbert confirmed this handing over to the Cisterciansinnen.
In the middle of the 14th century cloister of Haydau had developed not only to a spiritual-cultural, but also an economic centre in which the landgraves of Hessian had pledged towns and villages.
