Taken this spring in Michigan; those are leaves from last fall.

Nottingham, UK — Another attempt at photopimping what I previously posted here. Thanks to Becky for the crop advice.

These were sticking up about 30 feet high from a planter which divided a parking lot and the Experience Music Project. Not sure if they are part of the design, but they reminded me of blades of grass. They swayed back and forth in the breeze, so I had to shoot several to make sure I had a sharp one.

 

They had a golden glow from the nearby streetlights.
