“Faith is not a delicate flower which would wither away under the slightest stormy weather”
Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase
There is always going to be people who run you down out of jealousy or negativity, block it out and have faith, for it is the banishment of all doubt.
This cowgirl has faith in her stallion that's why she's a winner!
What better example of faith do we have than the seed, the farmer, and the trust of rain.
Taken @ Upper Peirce Reservoir right after the short storm.
Well, after capturing the previous image (checkout image below); it does rained but not as hard as I thought. Thus, I stayed a little bit longer and guess what, the rain stops.
Here, I manage to took another shot where the brewing cloud is clearing up and I'm really thankful for the wind and decision to linger a little bit longer...
Guess, a little persistence bears fruits....:)
!!! Please, do not leave award or faving without a comment, a small comment will make my day. Thank you !!!
Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.

What Is Faith?
Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. 2 Faith is the reason we remember great people who lived in the past.
3 It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God’s command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen.
Hebrews 11 verses 1 - 3
One Night While I Was Sleeping
They Brought Me Cancer
I Cried for Years
To See The Sunlight Again
Then One Day
He Brought The Sunshine Back
I Smiled Because
He Makes You
When You Cry
Another capture at Brompton Cemetery in London. I liked the contrast of the cross in the sky symbolising faith and prominence for whoever cared to look. The stonework was just artistry in its own right.
There are four basic types of iconographic representations of the cross: the crux quadrata, or Greek cross, with four equal arms; the crux immissa, or Latin cross, whose base stem is longer than the other three arms; the crux commissa, in the form of the Greek letter tau, sometimes called St. Anthony’s cross; and crux decussata, named from the Roman decussis, or symbol of the numeral 10, also known as St. Andrew’s cross. Tradition favours the crux immissa as that on which Christ died, but some believe that it was a crux commissa. The many variations and ornamentations of processional, altar, and heraldic crosses, of carved and painted crosses in churches, graveyards, and elsewhere, are developments of these four types.
Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future. It's simply taking God at His Word and taking the next step. Joni Erickson Tada

"I can only answer to my own will".
This is the first part of an on-going photographic experiment/project focusing on religion, secularism and loss of faith. I'm trying to leave every piece as open as possible to interpretation.

He who has faith has... an inward reservoir of courage, hope, confidence, calmness, and assuring trust that all will come out well - even though to the world it may appear to come out most badly.
In the middle of all the noise & traffic in NYC, i saw this brother practice his prayers on a street corner...
It's always beautiful to see someone pray no matter where they are...
An outtake that I liked. It was out of focus, but I'm beginning to appreciate it for what it is.
"Faith is to believe what we do not see,
and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe."
~ St Augustine
This is a cropped version from my original photo as a suggestion in "a flickr mail" to see the water reflection close-up and more personal! FWIW, I've never cropped a photo this much for details!
A favorite view from my neighborhood after an early morning shower...
Nearly two weeks ago I was watching the Great Scottish Run on TV. As the runners neared the end of the course they passed this lovely Church - the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Andrew. I thought it was worth a visit, hopefully you do too?
*Thanks for viewing*
Faith is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted in spite of your changing moods.
Faith and doubt both are needed - not as antagonists, but working side by side to take us around the unknown curve.

GOD is just like the wind.... you maybe can not see, but you know that it exist, because you can feel it
From Middle English feith, from Old French feid, from Latin fides, faith, trust. Used in English since the 12th Century.
faith (plural faiths)

"Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld." (Hebrews 11:1)
2. A feeling or belief, that something is true, real, or will happen.
Have faith that the criminal justice system will avenge the murder.
3. A trust in the intentions or abilities of a person or object.
I have faith in the goodness of my fellow man.
* (feeling, without direct evidence but based on indirect evidence and experience (inductive reasoning), that something is true, real, or will happen): belief, confidence, trust
* (system of religious belief): religion
* (Belief without proof)
~Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.~
