What better example of faith do we have than the seed, the farmer, and the trust of rain.

Bon Jovi _ Keep The Faith

Taken @ Upper Peirce Reservoir right after the short storm.

Well, after capturing the previous image (checkout image below); it does rained but not as hard as I thought. Thus, I stayed a little bit longer and guess what, the rain stops.

Here, I manage to took another shot where the brewing cloud is clearing up and I'm really thankful for the wind and decision to linger a little bit longer...

Guess, a little persistence bears fruits....:)

!!! Please, do not leave award or faving without a comment, a small comment will make my day. Thank you !!!

My first infrared shot for a while - taken at St. Uny's church in Lelant - I love this place right by the sea. I always think my Hoya infrared filter suits ruins, graveyards and churches.

I am finding my second hobby/activity, running, is taking more of my time at the moment, I intend to run the Cornish Grand prix, a 15 race running championship - I must find time for photography though and will be out this week!

What Is Faith?

Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it. 2 Faith is the reason we remember great people who lived in the past.

3 It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God’s command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen.

Hebrews 11 verses 1 - 3

Inukshuk at sunset in Park du Bic, Quebec. This image is dedicated to my mother, who recently discovered a love for Inuksuit, but who also helped me recover from personal loss this summer with her grace, love, and wisdom. More information about Inuksuit can be found here.

365_299 Praying in the grounds of the mosque but not indoors. In Islamic world, praying can be done anywhere. I was very far away. It was taken on 7D with 300mm lens, which is effectively 480mm.

I hope this shows my respect for the subject matter and won't make anybody uncomfortable.

I was always concerned about the privacy in such a subject. Changed my mind when a friend of mine easily obtained permission to photograph during the service in a mosque (which is normally forbidden - otherwise the tourists would forever distract the faithful). Well. I still won't go hunting for such images or trying to obtain that permission (I'd never get it, he was a man) but I don't feel guilty anymore.

The man's relationship with God, when based on love and gratitude is beautiful and that's what this photo is all about, for me.

I should have framed a bit more to the left... well, that moment is gone...

Replacement - had I payed a bit more attention to which memo cards I'm formatting, I'd not have formatted the wrong one as well... but since I didn't loose anything prize-worthy LOL, I'll survive.

Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future. It's simply taking God at His Word and taking the next step. Joni Erickson Tada

I Feel...

Located north of Miramar beach and about 10.5 km southwest of Vila Nova de Gaia - Porto, this very popular beach derives its name from the hexagonal Senhor da Pedra chapel, which is built on rocks on the southern end of the beach. The important pilgrimage to this chapel takes place in June, on the three days beginning on Holy Trinity Sunday.

A place not to miss.. I'll geotag this... ;)*

He who has faith has... an inward reservoir of courage, hope, confidence, calmness, and assuring trust that all will come out well - even though to the world it may appear to come out most badly.

In the middle of all the noise & traffic in NYC, i saw this brother practice his prayers on a street corner...

It's always beautiful to see someone pray no matter where they are...

An outtake that I liked. It was out of focus, but I'm beginning to appreciate it for what it is.
