This is my first attempt on long exposure photo. Morning light for 120 seconds with two ND filters one variable and one 3 stops. I'm not totally happy with the result, In the next few days I'll continue with other subjects/composition.
I decided to try out the 5D's multi exposure setting this morning with the sunrise. I got a few decent shots but hopefully I'll get the hang of it with more practise. I think this one was 4 exposures layered in camera. I got the exact look I was going for with the sky and water but the trees are a bit too blurry for my taste because of movement. Maybe this is were in-camera layering is limited.

Accidental double exposure. This is what happens when you are trying to shoot with four different cameras and only two hands. :)

Long Exposure of Wastwater, the wind picked up and killed all chance of reflections but liked the rocks, so tried this as a bit of a tester shot.
A 30 second exposure of traffic light trails taken on a bridge overlooking the A4042 between Cwmbran & Newport
it was so dark by the time i took this i couldn't see anything on live-view let alone thru the viewfinder. i had to crank up the ISO and shoot some test shots wide open to get the camera level and focus right. too bad it took a while as i almost missed the liner.
219 sec exposure.
i did a double exposure project with mary robinson! she took her frames first and then sent me the roll and i shot over hers. it was cool because i had no idea what i was shooting on top of so it was all a surprise when i got them developed. so, thanks, mary, for doing this with me!
the rest are on my blog, a lot didnt come out perfectly, but thats the beauty of double exposure.
A long exposure at the blue mountains national park, australia - trying this with a waterfall for the first time came out ok!
Not HDR this one but If you are interested in learning about HDR, Trey Ratcliff (StuckinCustoms.com) is one of - if not the best at HDR photography and bringing the detail / colours out in his shots. His site has a tutorial on how to create HDR images - he is the master you will learn much! There are others who I consider to be inspirational in this field who I will tag in this image - take a look at their work, Lorenzo, Artie and Kris Kros imparticular never fail to amaze.
A long exposure of Blaise Castle mansion house. I think the sky works better in this shot than the BW Castle image previously posted.
John Harford, a wealthy Bristol merchant and banker had Blaise Castle House built in 1796–1798, designed by William Paty. It is a grade II listed building. John Nash added the conservatory in 1805-6.
Blaise Castle was immortalised by being described as "the finest place in England" in Jane Austen's novel Northanger Abbey.

"We eat light, drink it in through our skins. With a little more exposure to light, you feel part of things physically. I like feeling the power of light and space physically because then you can order it materially. Seeing is a very sensuous act--there's a sweet deliciousness to feeling yourself see something."

Few weeks ago I had to do a double exposure macro for Macro Mondays. It was the first time to try this in camera technique. I wanted to experiment some more, and I convinced my daughter to be my Guinea pig this time. Looking at the results I see how I can improve next time, but for now, this is my double exposure.
Multiple exposure
I swear I have not intentionally created or enhanced in any way that little upside down love-heart formed between the umbrella handle and the handle on the bench. :-D In fact I have only noticed it when looking at the photo on the computer screen. :-)

I don't know if this double exposure went really well or really wrong. The double face is pretty wild.
Long exposure of Kansas City Plaza lights. I need to make another trip down there to capture some different angles and perhaps some from street level.
Thanks for looking!
