Another from the archives........
I took this during a rare (for me!) afternoon visit to South Bar Beach, NSW; Australia earlier this year; during a time when big seas has revealed a lot of rocks in this area.
Some nice moss covered rocks, some moody heavy cloud and some white water combine with a long exposure to create this for you - hope you like it!!!
Haida 6 stop slot-in ND, Haida Circular Polariser + Lee .9 Hard Grad filters used.
Thanks for any comments, views or favorites - always very much appreciated!!!!
Hope you are having a terrific day and weekend!!!
Long exposure of 60 seconds at f/14.
Situated in Anavyssos !
I wish to all of you a Perfect Christmas Day !!
Clouds are rare over here. When we woke up after 4 hours of sleep and saw them sailing across the sky before sunrise, we quickly grabbed our gear and started shooting grin emoticon
This is an long exposure combined with a blue hour image. For EXIF info, a before and after, and a processing explanation, please see my blog post: www.throughstrangelenses.com/2015/02/09/long-exposure-dub...
In camera double exposure. Any blown highlights effectively become an image mask.

A 15 second exposure taken in almost complete darkness , i used the torch on my phone to light the bench during the exposure , Not really a brilliant shot technically, was quite noisy and after noise reduction its left it lacking in detail when viewed big so not particularly sharp . But its certainly got me wanting to try light painting with better light than a phone torch lol :)

View On Black One more HDR image of Battersea Power Station with a speedboat passing in front at about 25kts. This type of triple exposure shot isn't that easy now you ask.... !
#42 on Explore so thanks for looking. R
I had a little time to spare before heading to bed - so decided to share another from a recent visit at sunrise to Chalky Beach (near Swansea, NSW; Australia).
There was some nice light breaking through the cloud at sunrise, whilst the long exposure helps flatten the waves and reveal some finer detail of the sub-surface seabed.
Hope you are having a great start to the New Year - all the best for 2014!!
Thanks for any comment on this or any of my other images - much appreciated!!!
to all my friends who greeted me.... THANK YOU!! =)
this was my first time to try a long exposure shot on "bulb" mode..

Same scene as the one uploaded a few days ago just at a long exposure.
Not much experience with long exposures, CC welcomed.
I got a bit obsessed with daylight long exposures on holiday in Sweden this Summer, so much so that I came back with hardly any good shots! Managed to salvage this one with a bit of post-processing...
Happy slider Sunday! This started off as a not very interesting and normally exposed colour shot. I used Lightroom to convert it to black and white and reduced the exposure, increased the shadows and highlights, and used the adjustment brush to produce this.
Looks dramatic in the light box.
